³⁸ But if I am doing them— even if you do not believe Me, be believing the works, in order that you may come-to-know and be understanding^[a] that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father”. ³⁹ Then they were seeking again to seize Him, and He went out of their hand.

⁴⁰ And He went away again beyond the Jordan, to the place where John was first baptizing. And He was staying there.
